The ribbon-cutting for the new Cyber Security program at Colorado Northwestern Community College was Thursday.
Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser was part of the ceremony. He said he knew CNCC was interested in a cyber security program.
“As it turns out, we had a settlement from Equifax for essentially not protecting people’s identities. So I thought, we have settlement funds, we can put to use here in Craig, and build a new cyber security program. I’m excited to be here opening up that program.”
Guests at the ribbon cutting in Craig were also given a Cyber Range tour.
