Over the holiday weekend, Howelsen Hill hosted the 21st Annual Jumpin’ and Jammin’ Ski Jumping Extravaganza.
Siblings Ethan and McKenzie Maines won the final rounds, taking the top spots for me and women. Over 80 athletes competed to a crowd of at least 3,000 cheering fans.

SSWSC’s Siblings Ethan and McKenzie Maines Take Top Spots at Jumpin’ and Jammin’
Steamboat Springs, Colo. – The 21th Annual Jumpin’ and Jammin’ Ski Jumping Extravaganza was nothing short of spectacular, Friday and Saturday, July 3-4. Jumpers were cheered on by an impressive crowd of over 3,000 people who packed into the jump flats at Howelsen Hill for food, music, and Otter Pops. The band rocked, the kids played, and the jumpers impressed guests from all over the country. SSWSC athletes and alumni had two days of stellar ski jumping and nordic combined action, dominating the top podium spots in all competitions. SSWSC’s Ethan Maines won the final elimination round of the ski jump competition, and sibling McKenzie Maines won the top spot for the women.
