The man who was involved in a police pursuit through the town of Hayden last week has died. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has identified him as 36-year-old Anthony David Quinn of Oak Creek. The accident happened after a Colorado State Patrol trooper performed a tactical maneuver against the car that Quinn was driving. The car crashed and Quinn was ejected. A bull moose has been seen in the Fish Creek Falls Road area over the weekend, with a piece of an antler impaled in its face. The antler is stuck there and you can see a picture through our social media and website. Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials say they’ll keep an eye on the situation but will treat it like any other injured animal call. District Wildlife Manager Kyle Bond says, “Until an injury significantly impacts the animal's daily life functions to the point that chance for survival without intervention would be minimal, we will monitor his condition and the injury progression.” Bond did reach out Sunday morning to ask if we knew where the moose was, but all we know is that it’s on the move.
