Watch for smoke in North Routt County as fire crews will be doing some prescribed burns over the next few weeks. The burns will be in the Mad Creek and Rocky Peak area in Routt National Forest. It’s a way to reduce the threat of wildfires this summer. It also improves the wildlife habitat be regenerating shrubs and aspen. More Information
