A Bison Antiquus has been discovered in Northwest Colorado. It’s an ancient bison skull from when mammoths lived here.

That’s Paul Knowles with the Museum of Northwest Colorado, where the ancient bison skull has been donated.

Knowles says the previous owners of the bison skull had some dating done on it and it could be 40,000 years old.
