National Trails Day is this Saturday. Routt County Riders is hosting a Volunteer Work Day on NPR up on Emerald. The NPR stands for No Pedaling Required and that trail is getting a makeover right now. Sign up through the RouttCountyRiders.org website. Each volunteer needs to complete the waiver. Meet at the stables parking area at Howelsen Hill at 8:30 a.m. this Saturday morning. Bring closed-toed shoes, dress in layers, bring plenty of water, wear work gloves and eye protection.
Then enjoy a pizza party from Corner Slice Pizza plus some New Belgium Beer after the work at 1 p.m. There will also be non-alcoholic sodas.
