A construction crew just west of the Steamboat Springs Community Center accidentally damaged a natural gas pipeline late Tuesday morning. The community center was evacuated and the highway was shut down for 62 minutes. Here’s Atmos spokesperson Kurtis Paradisa.
Paradisa wants to remind everyone to use safe digging practices when around any natural gas line, as it is the most common cause of a natural gas leak.
