LiftUp of Routt County is celebrating 25 years in the community. Wednesday, there were tours of the Food Bank, Thrift Store, and Donation Center. Money raised at LiftUp supports residents in time of need, which was especially prevalent during the COVID shutdown last year. Residents needed help with rent, utilities and food, and they got it from LiftUp. Here’s Executive Director Sue Fegelein.
It’s estimated that on donation days at LiftUp, they receive 525 bags and boxes a day. The Thrift Store averages about $1,900 a day.
