The Steamboat Sailors Football team is 4-1 with an away game this Friday night at Eagle Valley. The 8th graders just won their season, having not lost a game during all of middle school.
Football is gaining in popularity in Steamboat with 94 kids filling the Ski Town fields for flag football each week. Here’s Jeff Sublett with Steamboat Youth Athletics.
Both boys and girls, ages kindergarten through 6th grade, are in the flag football program.
