The Den Teen Center is open for its second weekend Friday. It’s on the east end of Craig. It’s a safe place for middle school and high school kids to just hang out. Scott Lang says 52 people visited The Den on its grand opening last month.
The Den Teen Center has video games and regular games, foosball, TVs, and of course big comfy couches. It’s just what teenagers want, and they can hopefully have someplace safe to go to stay out of trouble, and still be supervised.
It’s $50 for a teen to join The Den for six months.
Hours are Fridays from 4-9 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 2-9 p.m. The address is 835 E. Victory Way behind A-1 Laundromat. Once again, all middle school and high school kids are welcome.
