Steamboat library now requires mask for entry
In light of the escalating community spread of COVID-19 in Routt County, Bud Werner Library now requires that everyone wear a mask at all times while inside the public library. All individuals, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask in addition to ongoing COVID-19 mitigation measures which include social distancing, hand sanitizing, and staying away from the library if you are feeling ill or experiencing any symptoms.
All physical materials at Bud Werner Library remain available for curbside pickup during regular business hours. Try contactless borrowing for books, audiobooks, DVDs, music and more. Curbside pickup operates 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. The library coffee bar is currently closed.
In addition, the library has an enormous digital collection that is free and accessible with your library card, including streaming access to 27,501 movies on Kanopy; 979,640 download choices of music, audio books, movies, yoga classes and more on Hoopla; 35,537 audio and ebooks available on Overdrive and Libby, plus 3,702 of the hottest magazines in 18 different languages.
