The 2022 CHSAA State High School Basketball playoffs are underway today with games throughout Northwest Colorado.

There is a cost to get into CHSAA State Playoff games. Eight dollars for general admission and $6 for students and seniors.
TUESDAY GAMES, Feb. 22
3A Listen on KRAI 93.7 and 102.3
Moffat County Boys beat Basalt,59-50. Senior Myles Simpson had 31 points and was the Player of the Game. The #3 Bulldogs match up against #2 Delta this Friday. Kody May and Steve Maneotis made the call for KRAI.
Moffat County Girls vs. Basalt — Lady Bulldogs won, 44-31. Their next game is Friday against Grand Valley.

Hayden Boyslost to Vail Mountain, 81-24.
Soroco Boys lost to Plateau Valley, 49-73.
Meeker is the top seed in 2A District 5 so the Cowboys had a bye. Their first game will be against Vail Christian Friday.
2A District 5- GIRLS
Hayden vs. Rangely; The Hayden girls lost 52-28. Rangely will play the Soroco Girls Friday afternoon. Soroco is the number one seed at 18-1. Their first game will be at 3 p.m. this Friday.

WEDNESDAY’S GAME
Big win Wednesday for the Steamboat Springs Basketball team. They crushed Coronado out of Colorado Springs, 59-36, in the first round of the 4A CHSAA State Basketball playoffs. Here’s Sailor Senior Kellen Adams.
Steamboat is ranked #23 in the state tournament. The Sailors play #10 Green Mountain in the next round, with that time and date yet to be determined.
