The Routt County Humane Society will soon be full of puppies this week. The local animal shelter is expecting to have 17 puppies available for adoption this week. They’re all getting spayed and neutered and should be ready Tuesday. The puppies are lab and collie mixes, pitbull mixes, four mastiffs, and five Shar pei pups.
The shelter also has four adult dogs which they’re willing to offer up for adoption at half price. This is Partner, who is the Dog of the Week. He is a one-year-old shepherd mix who loves to play with other dogs and bound through the snowbanks.
Plus, the humane society has a rabbit who needs a home.
The local humane society has a $15 vaccination clinic from noon to 2 p.m. this Saturday at the shelter, which is at 760 Critter Court.
