When you head up Fish Creek Falls Road from the 4-way stop, watch out on the right. That’s where there’s a big dip in the road that’s sure to give you a jolt.
Steamboat’s Street Superintendent David Van Winkle says he knows the dip in the road has been developing for a few years now and he knows it’s getting worse.
Van Winkle says they’ll investigate why the bump is happening and why it’s bigger in the winter and work to solve it this summer. He says it might have to do with some hot springs under the ground there.
