Thursday is opening night for the spring play at Steamboat Springs High School. The production is “Into the Woods.”

SSHS Senior Emma Poper plays the witch.

Into the Woods is a musical with the music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Fifty-five students are involved including actors and tech crew.

Into the Woods is at 6 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, this week and next. Tickets are cash or check only, and available at the door.
