That’s Steamboat Springs Police Chief Sherry Burlingame. She’ll be at tonight’s meeting, along with other experts and law enforcement to talk about collaborative prevention to educate the community, parents and students on the fentanyl crisis.

Fentanyl is now the number one killer of people between the ages of 18 to 45 nationwide. The meeting is at 6 p.m. tonight at Steamboat Springs High School.

Narcan can reverse an overdose. All local police officers carry Narcan, which you can also get for free right now at local pharmacies, just to have on hand in case of an emergency.
