A dozen officers with Colorado Parks and Wildlife were treated to lunch at Vallarta’s in Craig on Monday.
It was a way to say thank you for what the agency has done for the past 125 years. The officers were from Area 6 which includes Moffat and Rio Blanco counties. Bill de Vergie is the Area 6 Wildlife Manager out of Meeker.
The Moffat County Cattlewomen also thanked the CPW officers by making a cake.
The year 2022 represents the 125th anniversary of Colorado Parks and Wildlife. It was the first state agency created to conserve wildlife in Colorado. Also thank you to Loy Jones for arranging the luncheon.
