The Steamboat Springs Police Department has a new officer. Collin Schultz attended the Colorado Law Enforcement Training Academy in Glenwood Springs for 16 weeks. After that, he has been field training for three months, which means riding around with other Steamboat officers to apply the training he learned at the academy.

Schultz is 24-years-old from Fort Collins.
