The Rotary Club of Craig is raising money to line the street with U.S. Flags during the holidays this year. This is the 16th year for the American Flag project. The Rotary Club puts the flags up on the Yampa Street lights and on both sides of Victory Way, from Lincoln Street to Finley Ave. The flags are up from Memorial Day through Veterans Day. Last year, there were 197 flags on Victory Way and 27 flags in downtown Craig.
The cost to purchase a flag is $75. All money raised will go to the various literacy projects in Moffat County schools, that are supported by the Craig Rotary. You are welcome to purchase as many flags as you’d like. Reach out to a Rotary Club member such as Randy Looper at elkruninn@yahoo.com
