Kids and members of the Routt County community who need a bike, might be able to get one through the Bike Match program. Here’s Matthew Rochon with Routt County Riders.
“The mission of Bike Match is to make sure everyone in the community who wants to be on a bike has a bike, a place to work on it, and the skills and ability to maintain it.”
If you have a serviceable bike in working order that you’d like to donate, or if you need a bike, please reach out to Routt County Riders by emailing Matthew@RouttCountyRiders.org Last year, they matched 58 bikes, mostly to youth. They have matched 17 bikes so far this year.
Routt County Riders is hosting a RAD Party 2022 Fundraiser from 6-10 p.m. Saturday night, June 18, at the Barley. There are prizes for costumes and lots of good auction items. Everyone is invited.
