Chris Stapleton has been forced to postpone three shows this weekend after testing positive for COVID-19. The country star was set to perform in Salt Lake City on June 23rd and two Denver shows the following two nights. All three have been rescheduled for July 1-3.

Stapleton shared on his socials: “I am very sorry to let you all know that I have tested positive for COVID and will be unable to perform this weekend’s shows. I want to sincerely thank everyone who has waited so long for these shows. We are incredibly grateful for your patience, love, and support, and can’t wait to see you next week.”  Tickets for the original dates will be honored for their rescheduled dates. Fans who cannot attend can request a refund at point of purchase.

This summer, Stapleton will be honored during the 15th Annual Academy of Country Music Honors, alongside Miranda Lambert, Shania Twain and Morgan Wallen. Honorees will be celebrated during an evening of live music and tributes on August 24th at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
