WEDNESDAY AT THE FAIR
The Grand Champion Market Sheep goes to Trinity Boulger. She won Wednesday night at the Moffat County Fair in Craig.
11-year-old Austin Jazwick had to help hand out the ribbons to the winners since all of the Fair Royalty were showing their sheep. But he didn’t mind.
The Beef Show is Thursday afternoon with the rodeo and Catch-A-Pig tonight, followed by the concert for Wordan Jilson. Friday is the Swine Show, Rabbit Show, and Poultry Show. There’s fun all day Saturday with the Parade of Champions and Livestock Sale Saturday night. It’s all at the Moffat County Fairgrounds in Craig.
TUESDAY AT THE FAIR
The Moffat County Fair is this week in Craig. Tuesday was the Dog Show. Autumn Baker showed her French Poodle, Molly.
“Molly is a good dog because I work with her every day. I spend a lot of time with her and I spend a lot of time with her. Molly is going to do great and I am excited to compete.”
Autumn will be a 4th grader at Sunset Elementary in Craig.
Wednesday evening is the Sheep Show at the Fair with Gymkhana. Thursday is the Goat Show in the morning and Beef Show at 2 p.m. in the afternoon.
Friday morning is the Swine Show and Rabbit Show.
Megan Stetson is the Moffat County 4H Extension Agent.
“Not only are they learning about the animals, but they do a lot of leadership opportunities within their club. They learn officer roles. So it’s really just about youth development, and they get to meet other individuals. It’s a great time.”
Thursday night is the PRCA and WPRA Rodeo and Catch-a-Pig Contest with a concert by Wordan Jilson.
There’s fun all day Saturday with the Parade of Champions and Livestock Sale Saturday night. It’s all at the Moffat County Fairgrounds and you don’t want to miss it.

“It’s a great community event because these kids have been working on their animals all year. We’re here to support them. And this is what the whole event is about, to support these kids for their future and I hope to see you down.”
The Routt County Fair is next week, at the fairgrounds in Hayden.
