Ringo Starr has been forced to cancel the remainder of his 2022 tour dates due to testing positive for COVID a second time. Nearly a dozen dates were canceled; the tour was set to wrap on October 20th in Mexico City.  Ringo shared on social media: “I’m sure you’ll be as surprised as I was I tested positive again for COVID. The rest of the tour is off. I send you peace and love.”

Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band — featuring Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette, Hamish Stuart and Edgar Winter — had previously postponed the tour in June after two members tested positive. The tour was again postponed on October 2nd with six dates canceled after Starr tested positive. It was officially canceled on Thursday (Oct 13th) when Starr tested positive for a second time.
