The new playground at Little Toots Park in Steamboat Springs was officially dedicated Tuesday.
It’s called Lions Club Playground because of the 100-year anniversary of the Ski Town Lions Club and the longtime support the local Lions Club has given to the playground. Here’s Lions Club President Peter Mamich.
Heather Sloop is the President Pro Tem of Steamboat Springs City Council. She made the presentation of the new playground on Tuesday.
Savannah MacNeil is a first grader who helped cut the celebratory ribbon.
Two more features called the Tri-Rock and the Grand Strand are still on back order. The last playground at Little Toots was built back in 1995.
