Today is the day to mail in your ballot. After this day, ballots need to be dropped off at a polling location so they get to the county clerk’s office in time. Here’s Routt County Clerk and Recorder Jenny Thomas.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8. If you don’t mail it in today, in Routt County, drop off locations are at Hayden Town Hall, Oak Creek Town Hall, Yampa Town Hall, and the Clark Store. Or drop it off at the clerk’s office in the historic Routt County courthouse. There are also two 24/7 dropboxes in the sheriff’s parking lot on Shield Drive or behind the courthouse annex. Moffat County has a 24-hour Election Drop Box at the east entrance of the Moffat County Courthouse on W. Victory Way.
