Colorado Parks and Wildlife wants your opinion on the Northwest Colorado Deer Herd Management Plans. There are 16 deer herds in northwest Colorado. CPW is working on a regional update to balance the biological capabilities of the herd and its habitat with the public’s demand for wildlife recreational opportunities. Drought in certain areas also makes a difference. Draft plans are open to public review and comment through Dec. 20.
