Craig Police has their new DARE truck. DARE stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. The fifth grade DARE students were asked to submit a design for the truck to School Resource Officer Ryan Hampton. The winning design was from Aneth Mena Romo.
Identity Graphics was able to take the artwork and put it on the new truck. It took about six months to get the new Dodge Ram from Victory Motors, since it’s so hard to get new vehicles right now. It was another 30 days to get the design wrap put on.
The new DARE Truck will be revealed and dedicated at 3:30 p.m. this Thursday, at Craig Middle School. Romo will do the unveiling. Her name is also on the tailgate. Everyone is invited. Look for the truck and Craig Police in the northwest parking lot at the school next to the auditorium.
