Make sure your gas meter and your regulator are cleared. Snow on the roof above the meter also needs to be cleared so it doesn’t fall on the meter and cause a leak or a fire. Atmos Energy says to take a broom and brush it off. If you do smell natural gas, call 911 and leave the area.

The 110th Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival has wrapped up for another year. Kids thrilled the crowd with the street events this weekend. Zack Hiatt won the Donkey Jump for the six to 9-year-olds.
“I was tucking and holding on tight and then I popped.”
And after that, Zack had a big crash, but the jump still counted and he flew 35 feet and 11 inches.
On Sunday, the older kids competed in the Donkey Jump and Griffin Harvey gave it all he had, pulled by Doug Wheeler.
That’s all Griffin needed to jump 47 feet and five inches. The almost 14-year-old goes to Steamboat Springs Middle School.

Varsity girls take to the court at 5:30 p.m. and the Varsity boys are right after, around 7 p.m.
