The Sailor Soccer season kicks this weekend off for the girls team from Steamboat Springs High School. Here’s head coach Rob Bohlmann.
“The girls are really good. We’re really picking up the pieces from last year and working to make it our own. We’ve got a lot of work to do to find our rhythm, coming in and transferring from playing in a tight space in the gym and finally getting outdoors, and we’re looking forward to our opening match.”
The first game for the Sailors Girls Soccer team is away this weekend, at noon at Palisade High School.
There are eight returning seniors on the team. The girls soccer team made it to the quarter-finals of the CHSAA State Championships last year.
