The town of Parachute has now joined Steamboat Springs and five other Colorado communities in considering legal action against the US Postal Service. Those other communities are Avon, Buena Vista, Silverthorne, Crested Butte, and Snowmass Village. It’s about poor mail delivery service issues in Colorado’s mountain towns.

It was a packed house in Walden last night for another meeting with U.S. Fish and Wildlife about the 10J rule. The ranchers and outfitters in the room are very much in favor of it and were very vocal, as it would give them lethal management against wolves, if attacking their livestock, ranching dogs, or pets. There was also a meeting in Craig the night before. The emphasis is on sending public comments to U.S. Fish and Wildlife on the subject. Those comments can be submitted through April 18 at www.Regulations.gov Search Docket number FWS-R6-ES-2022-0100.
