Several anonymous Safe2Tell tips led to an investigation of a student at Steamboat Springs High School last week. Steamboat Springs Police were made aware of a high school student making threats to bomb the school. Tips were sent in to Safe2Tell. Local law enforcement worked with school officials to investigate and they concluded that there are no threats to the school. The case has been submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for charges.

AG STUDY TO HELP LOCAL LIVESTOCK PRODUCERS AND MEAT PROCESSORS
A regional agriculture feasibility study will support local livestock producers and meat processers. The study will get input from ag producers in Moffat, Rio Blanco, and Routt counties. Interviews can be virtual or in person. There is a link on our website to sign up. When the study is complete, ranchers can have access to it to help them apply for grants and loans. It’s being done through the Northwest Colorado Development Council with help from the Community Ag Alliance and a $25,000 grant from the Just Transition Fund.
