Some Yampa Valley High School students are selling soap and other handmade items at the Community Ag Alliance building right now, at 8th and Oak. Raven McLaughlin is a sophomore. It’s part of their entrepreneurship class.
“We kind of voted on everything that we wanted to do. We decided soap was the easiest. We also have keychains.”
The class is only there until 2:30 today (Wednesday, May 31). They are at a table outside of the building. They have many flavors of soaps like cinnamon, lavender and eucalyptus. The blueberry pie scented soap is Raven’s favorite.
All of the money raised goes back into the program at the high school.
