From the team: The challenge course was a robotic interplanetary mining challenge on the planet Norco. There were three sections, one where the robot had to get food and supplies to the astronauts, the second was to collect and remove mining ore and the third was to navigate through a crater field and launch three rockets. All three of the Routt County teams had perfect runs on the course. Work began in January and the dedication and problem solving took place throughout months leading to the state championships in Ft Collins.
