A flood relief fund has been set up with the Yampa Valley Community Foundation for those low-income residents of Hayden who need help with repairs after the flooding last April.
The residents are getting very little help from the government or insurance so the foundation has opened up a charitable fund to receive donations from community members who might want to help these Hayden neighbors get back to safe and livable conditions. They are dealing with things like mold mitigation, replacing drywall and insulation, replacing broken appliances, removing hazardous waste, and rebuilding.
