Two neighborhoods will be impacted for the next two weeks by utility projects in Steamboat Springs. They are Riverside and the Stehley Park-Logan Avenue area.
In the downtown project, the city is changing over the sewer services from the old clay tile sewer main to a newer PVC sanitary sewer main. The project starts Wednesday, July 5, and should take about two weeks. The pedestrian path for Stehley Park will be closed.
In the Riverside area, water will be shut off for six hours during the day Thursday to do maintenance on the water main.

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-July 1, 2023-The city will be performing two utility projects that will impact two areas of the city this week, specifically Riverside and Stehley Park-East Logan Avenue.
The city will be changing over the sanitary sewer services of the homes along East Logan Avenue from an old clay tile sanitary sewer main to a newer PVC sanitary sewer main. The project, which starts on Wednesday, July 5, is anticipated to take approximately two weeks to complete.
During the transition, the pedestrian path running along the north side of Stehley Park will be closed for the duration of the project. Pedestrians are asked to leash pets, use caution, and take the southern gravel trail through the park to access Butcherknife. Crews will be working from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The second project is scheduled repairs and maintenance to the water main in the Riverside area, which requires a complete water shut off on Thursday, July 6. The planned six-hour outage will occur starting at 9am and should not run past 3pm. The work will impact approximately 90 service connections across businesses and residential units
