The Routt County Sheriff’s Office has a Public Information Officer. Tabitha Callies has been a patrol deputy for about a year, but she will be the Public Information Officer as well.
“I’m looking forward to being able to communicate accurate, reliable, and fun information to the community from the sheriff’s office.”
Callies came to Routt County to work for Colorado Parks and Wildlife at Stagecoach State Park before becoming a Routt County Sheriff’s Officer. “After the county stole my heart and a little bit of peer pressure from the Sheriff’s Office I changed my career and joined Routt County Sheriff’s Office. Serving my community has been the most rewarding job I’ve had and I look forward to seeing where it takes me!”
