This time around we will be focusing on 15 different stretches of the Yampa along with surrounding areas and downtown tributaries.

Volunteer check-in starts at 9 am meeting at Little Toots Park, 55 12th Street, downtown Steamboat Springs.

The cleanup takes place from 9 am-noon

Celebration & Lunch from noon to 2 pm. We will wrap up the cleanup and celebrate with Broolyn’s pizza provided by the City of Steamboat, cold beer provided by Storm Peak Brewing Co., soft drinks, and music for all volunteers.

To help streamline the check-in process, we ask that volunteers be signed up by Friday, July 28th at 2 pm. When signing up, you will be able to choose a stretch of river to clean. Details and instructions for each stretch are noted.

*Volunteers: please wear adequate footwear for walking along the riverbank, bring thick gloves, and other items you might need to keep you comfortable for a few hours. Expect mosquitoes, so long sleeve shirts and bug spray is suggested. Trash bags and limited pick-up sticks will be provided.
