Yampa Valley Regional Airport in Hayden will have nonstop flights from 16 airports this winter, on six major carriers.
The largest is United Airlines with nonstop service from all seven of their national hub airports into Steamboat/Hayden. There are already daily flights from Denver. This winter, there will be daily flights from Chicago, Houston, and Los Angeles on United. Flights from Dallas/Fort Worth are on American with other Dallas flights on Southwest.
There will also be daily flights from Atlanta on Delta. There will be a direct flight from Newark into Hayden five times a week on United.
Most start in mid-December.
There are already daily flights on United and Southwest and those will continue, with weekend direct flights out of Houston.

Capacity Increased for Steamboat Air Program
Air Program Continues with 16 Nonstop Airports and Six Major Airlines
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, CO- August 25, 2023—Steamboat Ski Resort has announced the 2023/24 winter air schedule. Steamboat (HDN) is the only Colorado mountain destination to feature 16 nonstop airports with service on six major carriers. Capacity will increase significantly this winter with approximately 30,000 additional arriving seats beginning on December 14, 2023. The longstanding air service program is made possible by partners Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation and the Steamboat Springs Local Marketing District.
United Airlines, Steamboat’s largest carrier, returns with nonstop service from all seven of their national hub airports into Steamboat (HDN). Increased capacity highlights this winter include Newark (EWR) on United Airlines going from weekend mainline service to five times per week; Denver (DEN) on United increasing from two daily mainline jets to three daily mainline jets; Atlanta (ATL) on Delta going from a 737 to 757, adding 39 arriving seats daily; and Southwest Airlines service from Dallas (DAL) increasing from Saturday only to daily beginning January 8.
