The Hayden Hall of Horrors is at the Routt County Fairgrounds in Hayden, presented by Sassquatch Party Rentals LLC and Manes & More by Mermaid. The fun is from 5-10 p.m. October 28-31. That’s Saturday through Halloween night, Oct. 28-31. It’s in the Exhibit Hall.
Caleb Cagle is the co-owner of the event. They chose the event to be held at the fairgrounds in Hayden because it is central to the Yampa Valley.
“Being in Hayden, I feel like it allows us to bring together Steamboat, Craig, Hayden, Oak Creek. Even more, I feel like this is just a nice central location.”
There’s four spooky days of fun, with carnival games for all ages, a haunted house that gets spookier as you go, a zombie shootout arena, photo booth area, and contests with prizes Sunday through Tuesday, including trick or treating and a Halloween Contest on Halloween Night!
“You know, everybody, I feel like, likes to be scared in different levels and I feel like we’ve got a few different levels going on, and different intensities going on in here, that I feel like it covers something for everybody.”
The Hayden Hall of Horrors is teaming up with Partners for Youth and United Way of the Yampa Valley Moffatt County. They will be receiving a portion of the $5 door fee for their help in operations.
Prices: $5 door fee (half goes to nonprofits), $10 for one Haunted House Trip or $20 unlimited trips for the night per person, $10 zombie gel blaster shootout, carnival games with prizes will be purchased with tokens.
Cagle says they plan to do the event every year.
