The Steamboat Springs Drama Troupe presents A Midsummer Night’s Dream, starting Thursday evening, Nov. 9. Here’s Steamboat Radio News Intern Chloe Sachs.
Fifty students are involved in the production with 29 on stage including senior Sophie Cowman who plays Peter Quince.
“I think people should come because it will make you smile. And supporting young artists in our community is super important.”
Junior Ruby Frank plays Hermia.
“People should come see this show because we have been working so hard on it. This is probably actually the best case that we’ve had in a very long time. Everyone is super dedicated. I’ve never seen this much work put into a show before.”
The play is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Nov. 9, 10, and 11, with a special 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday. VIP tickets are $30, General Admission tickets are $20, and students are $10. Tickets are available at Steamboat Springs High School and at the door.
