Santa Claus will be visiting Steamboat Springs neighborhoods on top of a big red fire truck again this year. He’ll be spreading holiday spirit and joy of the season for seven days throughout the Yampa Valley.
The Santa tours start each day around 5 p.m. through the following neighborhoods.
“With all that is going on in the world today, it’s important to share the holiday spirit as a community,” said Firefighter/Public Education Coordinator Julie Wernig. “The holidays are not easy for everyone, so we have to continue to be kind, compassionate and caring to each other and this tour is one small way to share a little joy.”
Again, this year, Life360 app will allow people to track Santa’s route each evening aboard the Big Red Sleigh and see where the big man in the red suit and his elves are in real time. A code for each evening will be shared before the Big Red Sleigh departs for its nightly rounds. Watch for that code through social media.
