The Senior Social Center in Craig has a new larger room with new workout equipment now available.
Rebekah Greenwood is the director of the Senior Social Center.
“It’s just an exceptional place to exercise, for socialization, and to just get some motivation to come out and be active.”
The cost to join the new gym and use the equipment at the Senior Social Center is $15 per year. For those under 60 years old, it’s $25 a year. Greenwood says they even have scholarships available. They also have a donation jar if you want to throw in a dollar or two on your visit.
Greenwood says everyone is welcome.
“We would love to have anybody that wants to come out and get healthy and just have more energy and excitement about life.”
The Senior Social Center is in the Yampa Building in Craig. They are also renovating the kitchen with a new commercial kitchen, and the offer services and events for seniors.
