The Veterans Center in Steamboat Springs hosted a Holiday Homecoming for all Active Duty members and their families Friday evening. The local veterans were there to express their appreciation for their continued service.
The Veterans Center also presented a Blue Star Banner to all families with members on Active Duty.
Jack Benedetti is in the USMC Infantry in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
Griffin Park is training to be an Army Medic at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
Joseph Berlet is in the Army Infantry at Fort Bliss, Texas.
Nick Ames is the first Ceremonial Guardsman for the Space Force Honor guard. He’s flew in from Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington D.C.
The Veterans Center’s purpose is to serve veterans, their generational family members, local community members, and visitors in Northwest Colorado by maintaining a prominent location in Steamboat Springs where all can celebrate a legacy of service to our country, concern for our veterans, and commitment to our community.
Money is still being raised for the renovation of the building, with help from Yampa Valley Community Foundation. DONATE HERE
