UPDATE: Dance Showcase IS happening tonight (Thursday, Jan. 18.)
Dance Showcase is at Steamboat Springs High School Thursday night through Saturday, Jan. 18-20. This year’s show is called Ataraxia, which means a state of serene calmness; untroubled by emotional or mental disquiet.
NOTE: The school district will make a decision on whether Dance Showcase will happen on Thursday night, since school was canceled Thursday for a Snow Day.
Axton Juneau is a student producer who is a senior. The junior student producers are Izzy Picking and Sassy Price.
Shows are at 6 p.m. each night with a special 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday. The entire production is student led, with about 30 students from Steamboat Springs High School and Steamboat Mountain School.
