Colorado Parks and Wildlife has sent an update on wolf sightings saying again there have been no confirmed sightings of wolves in Moffat County in the past two months. We had received requests to find out.
If you think you have seen a wolf, take a picture and get coordinates and report it on the Wolf Sighting Form on the CPW website. They will investigate and then confirm with us.

The Eco Club at Steamboat Springs High School built snowmen on the lawn of the historic Routt County Courthouse Friday afternoon. It was a climate demonstration. SSHS Senior Amelie Wild helped organize the event.
“I think there’s a couple reasons why we chose snowmen, one of them being that it’s a more accessible way to talk about climate change. We’ve got kids from elementary school. We have adults from the community. And they’re all just super excited to be here and build snowmen and it’s just a different way to make an impact. And I think it also shows something that is really important to our community, which is snow, and it is something that is being impacted by climate change.”
You can see those snowmen on the courthouse lawn, holding up signs that the students made.
