Closing Day at Howelsen Hill Ski Area in Steamboat Springs is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 24. Visit the Howelsen Hill Ticket Office to claim your FREE ticket if you plan to do some skiing and riding on the last day as it is also the last day for Ski Free Sundays.
The Pond Skim Competition returns again this year. The Return of Rat Lake is from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. Will you skim or swim? Advanced Registration is required online and a signed waiver is required.. Only 100 spots are available. Register here.
COSTUMES ARE ENCOURAGED – Prizes awarded for best skims, costumes, etc.
Live Music – Local bands Bootleg & Derecho will be performing on the back patio of Howelsen Hill Lodge from 10 a.m. to noon, and 2-4 p.m.
The Outrun Snack Bar with have end-of-season food and beverage specials all day.
