The Rotary Club of Craig is starting up their Flag Sponsorship program. It’s the 18th year where businesses and community members can sponsor flags which will be displayed throughout Craig on holidays, starting Memorial Day and ending with Veteran’s Day in November. Flags are not placed during the winter holidays due to safety concerns.
- Memorial Day (Monday, May 27)
- Flag Day (Friday, June 14)
- July 4th (Thursday, July 4)
- Colorado Day (Tuesday, August 1)
- Patriot Day (Wednesday, September 11)
- Columbus/Indigenous People Day (Monday, October 14)
- Veteran’s Day (Monday, Nov. 11)
The flags are placed on the light poles on both sides of the street, on Victory Way and Yampa Ave. The cost is $85 per flag.
