The Craig-Scheckman Family Foundation is expanding their support of youth in Routt County to support the mental health and well-being of local young people. They have a Community Advisory Group to learn and come up with ideas, with the help of a consulting company to guide the process.

Here’s Executive Director of the Craig-Scheckman Family Foundation, Mark Andersen.

“We’re taking our time through this process because it’s very important to hear all voices in our community especially those that are often not heard. Youth voices, certain populations in our community. They’re not at the decision-making table and we want to bring that opportunity to them to be part of the decision-making process.”

Andersen expects the process to take ten months to a year to start being implemented.
