Close to 40 seniors from Steamboat Springs and Hayden journeyed up the gondola Wednesday, at Steamboat Resort, to learn about how the gondola works. The tour was organized by the Routt County Council on Aging.
“This is special for me because I no longer ski and I get to ride the gondola and walk around the upper mountain with a bunch of great folks.”
That’s Barb Tuchlinsky who went on the tour.
The group learned all of the mechanics about the gondola and how fast it can shuttle visitors up the mountain. Leslie Gibson is with Steamboat Resort.
