Work is being done on the Stockbridge Pedestrian Bridge along the Yampa River Core Trail. That work is scheduled to start Tuesday morning, Sept. 3. The bridge is being refurbished with new decking, a new railing, and new paint. The 132-foot bridge has deteriorated because of the harsh weather conditions. Work on the Stockbridge Pedestrian Bridge should last into early October and it will be closed during that time.

Detour Information: A detour will be set up so that Core Trail users can bypass the closed area by traveling along US40 between Indian Trails and Dream Island Plaza, before rejoining the trail via West Lincoln Park.
